On February 3, 2025, a meeting took place at the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov, and the Director of the RATS SCO Executive Committee, Ularbek Sharsheev.
During the discussion, B. Atamkulov reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation within the SCO framework, emphasizing the importance of effective collaboration in countering terrorism and extremism. He also confirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to support the work of the Executive Committee and contribute to the development of multilateral cooperation within the Organization.
Additionally, the Kazakh Ambassador drew the Director’s attention to the relevance of implementing Kazakhstan’s initiative to establish a Center for Information Security.
In turn, U. Sharsheev expressed gratitude for the support of the Executive Committee’s activities and noted Kazakhstan’s active role in promoting initiatives aimed at strengthening regional security.
