Meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobozhonov

On July 3, this year, a working meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Pulat Bobozhonov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical aspects of the interaction of the diplomatic mission with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan on the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of Kazakhstan in the country, on the procedure for interaction and information support on issues of offenses and detentions of citizens of Kazakhstan.

The parties noted the positive dynamics and growth of mutual trips of citizens of the two countries.

For reference: in 2023, 63.4 thousand tourists from Kazakhstan visited Uzbekistan.

The head of the diplomatic mission B.Atamkulov noted the high level and professionalism of the work of the tourist police of Uzbekistan. He also focused on issues of violations of migration rules, dual citizenship and interaction on these issues with a government agency.
