80th Аnniversary of Murat Auezov

This year, the 80th Anniversary of Murat Auezov, a prominent Kazakh public figure, culturologist, writer, candidate of philological sciences, is widely celebrated.

M.Auezov is the author of over 200 publications on the theory and practice of the artistic process, as well as such well-known monographs as "Times connecting thread" (1972), "Hippocrene. Journeys to the wells of time "(1997) and" Leave to return "(2002).

M.Auezov devoted his whole life to the study of the Turkic, Slavic and Chinese peoples. The key idea of the writer in his writings is the cultural integration of neighboring countries. Murat Auezov's teacher was his father, a classic of Kazakh literature, scientist Mukhtar Auezov, the author of the first Kazakh epic novel "The Way of Abai".
