Seminar for Kazakhstan representatives - raising awareness on Council of Europe conventions

STRASBOURG, May 25, 2022 – On 23-25 May 2022, representatives of public authorities of Kazakhstan expanded their knowledge on the Council of Europe conventions system during a 3-day training seminar in Strasbourg (France) in the Council of Europe headquarters.

The visit was organized in the framework of the Action “Facilitating the creation of a common legal space between Europe and Central Asia and enhancing human rights protection” within the joint European Union – Council of Europe Central Asia Rule of Law Programme 2020-2023. 

Kazakhstan representatives had a range of exchanges and meetings with the Secretariat of the Council of Europe allowing a better understanding of the Council of Europe conventions system as well as the commitments, benefits, and implications for the national system.
