• In a world marked by polarisation, Kazakhstan recognises its pivotal role as a champion of multilateralism and pragmatic cooperation, leading to the creation of the Astana International Forum (AIF) as a platform for global dialogue and cooperation.
• Committed to our collective responsibility to build a better world, Kazakhstan launched AIF to provide an annual Forum for global leaders to come together to address critical challenges spanning peace, climate change, energy security, finance, and more.
• AIF2023, the inaugural edition of the Forum, was a roaring success, hosting over 5,000 delegates from 40 countries. Distinguished leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Kristalina Georgieva contributed to impactful sessions.

AIF24:

• The second edition, AIF2024, is set to take place on June 13-14, 2024, reflecting Kazakhstan's unwavering commitment to fostering global cooperation and dialogue in the face of an increasingly challenging global landscape.
• The discussions at AIF24 will focus on four core thematic areas: foreign policy and international security; international development and sustainability; energy and climate change; and economy and finance.

• All costs of AIF2024 are covered by the Government of Kazakhstan, supported by local and international corporate sponsors and partners.

Who is Organizing AIF?

• AIF2024 is organized by the Government of Kazakhstan, with President Tokayev serving as the official host, ensuring a high-level commitment to the success and impact of the Forum.
