Expansion of Trade, Economic and Investment Relations Between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia Were Discussed at the Federation of Saudi Chambers

Riyadh, October 21, 2024 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with the Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Hassan Moejeb Alhwaizy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres, including through the Kazakhstan-Saudi Arabia Business Council.

Ambassador M. Menilbekov informed about the current political and socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, as well as about the Government's measures to create a favorable business climate for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs.

In this context, the Kazakh diplomat invited the leadership of the Federation of Saudi Chambers to take an active part in the upcoming "Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable", which will be held on November 1, 2024 in Astana.

H.Alhwaizy fully supported the proposals of the Kazakh side to intensify bilateral cooperation and assured that he would make every effort to expand existing and establish new contacts between the business circles of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to begin practical steps to intensify bilateral cooperation by holding mutual trade missions, organizing joint events in the form of "B2B" and "G2B" meetings, begin a joint search for solutions to logistics issues, exchange the range of goods produced in the two countries, etc.
