Investment Opportunities in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality were Discussed with a Prominent Saudi Holding Al Hokair Group

Riyadh, May 22, 2024 – HE Mr. Madiyar Menilbekov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, met with Majed Alhokair, the Chairman of the Al Hokair Holding Group.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Kazakhstan and Al Hokair, including the possibility of implementing future investment projects in Kazakhstan in tourism and hospitality.

Ambassador M.Menilbekov briefed about the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, paying special attention to the measures taken to develop the tourism industry and the tourism sphere as a whole. He noted that today Kazakhstan can offer almost all types of tourism services - from educational and entertainment tours to recreational, business and ecotourism.

For his part, M. Al Hokair, having introduced the activities of the Al Hokair Group holding and plans for the development of the hotel business in the Kingdom and abroad, expressed his readiness to establish close cooperation with Kazakh travel companies and representatives of the hotel business.

Al Hokair Holding Group is a large Saudi holding company founded in 1975. The holding's activities are focused on the hospitality and entertainment business. Today, the company operates in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. It has 35 hotels of world brands such as Radisson, Holiday Inn, Hilton, Marriott, etc., as well as 92 different theme parks and entertainment centers serving more than 30 million visitors annually.
