Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the head of a largest Saudi travel company

On March 23, 2023, H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, met with Eng. Mohammed Al-Khalil, the Chairman of “Seera Group.”

During the meeting, Ambassador Berik Aryn presented an invitation on behalf of H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, to participate in the Astana International Forum and briefed on the agenda and program of the event, which will be held on June 8-9 2023

The parties also exchanged views on further developing bilateral cooperation between the countries in tourism. In particular, they noted that the measures taken by the governments of the two countries, such as facilitating the visa regime, launching direct flights, and holding tourism road shows, made it possible to turn Kazakhstan into a new tourist destination for Saudi citizens.

Thus, in January-September last year, for the first time in the modern history of bilateral relations, over 5.5 thousand Saudi tourists visited Kazakhstan.
