Cultural events to celebrate "Nauryz" continue in Riyadh

The diplomatic corps of Asian countries accredited in Saudi Arabia held another spring festival in Riyadh to celebrate "Nauryz" and International Women's Day.

The cultural event was dedicated to the traditions and customs, national food, art and clothing of eastern peoples. The festival was attended by over a thousand people, including city residents, diplomats and their families, representatives of various Saudi and foreign companies, media and intellectuals.

The program of the festival was accompanied by folk songs, creative poems, contests and artistic dances.   

Embassy of Kazakhstan in order to acquaint local audience, city residents and foreign diplomats with the rich history, distinctive culture, traditions and customs of the Kazakh people took an active part in this event.  For guests and participants of the festival were presented picturesque stalls, furnished with traditional costumes, handmade souvenirs, jewelry, paintings, as well as national dishes and treats. Of particular interest to visitors and participants was the creative exhibition, which was dedicated to the works of young Kazakh artists.  

The guests and visitors of the festival could plunge into the special atmosphere of celebration and festivity of "Nauryz", get in a festive mood and share positive emotions and impressions.
