Ambassador of Kazakhstan Visits the Buraydah International Dates Carnival

Buraydah, September 3-4, 2026 – The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Menilbekov, paid a working visit to Buraydah, the administrative center of Al-Qassim Province, to attend the annual International Dates Carnival. 

During the visit, the Ambassador toured the carnival's marketplace – one of the largest date markets in the world – where he was introduced to the diverse varieties and quality of the produce, as well as modern date-processing technologies.

On the sidelines of the event, the Kazakhstan diplomat met with local entrepreneurs and key agribusiness representatives. The discussions focused on deepening bilateral agricultural cooperation, boosting bilateral trade turnover, exploring opportunities to export eco-friendly produce to Kazakhstan, and expanding the supply of Kazakh agricultural products to the Saudi market.
