Kazakhstan and Latvia expand cooperation in joint film production

Riga, March 6, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Dauren Karipov met with co-owners of the leading Baltic film company Forma Pro Films Svetlana Ivannikova, Igor Pronin and Yulia Zaitseva.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of the development of the film industry of Kazakhstan based on the experience and expertise of the Latvian film company Forma Pro Films, as well as Kazakh-Latvian cooperation in the field of joint film production.

The Kazakh diplomat emphasized that the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of film production will contribute to the expansion of relations on a wide range of issues between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Latvia

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on close cooperation, including through the implementation of joint projects in this area.
