OTTAWA, June 8, 2021 - Within the agreements of the "Kazakhstan-Canada" Business Council`s Construction and Infrastructure Working Group, it was held a discussion on the possibilities of further cooperation between the two countries` representatives of the construction sector.
The event was attended by the heads of the largest construction companies in Kazakhstan, including Bazis-A and BI Group, representatives of the embassies of Kazakhstan and Canada, Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA), Kazakh Invest, as well as the construction industry of Canada.
The head of Basis-A, Alexander Belovich, shared his experience in introducing Canadian innovative construction technologies in Kazakhstan and noted that Canada and Kazakhstan are countries with a cold climate and the introduction of Canadian experience and construction methods has great prospects in our country.
He was supported by the General Director of BI Infra Construction Darkhan Rakhimov, expressing his readiness to develop comprehensive cooperation with the Canadian construction business community.
During the event, the prospects for mutual constant exchange on affordable housing, the introduction of energy efficiency technologies and the development of "smart cities" were noted.
An agreement was reached on the formation of a Kazakh delegation consisting of large construction companies, associations, government agencies in charge of infrastructure development for a visit to Canada after the lifting of restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic.
