DIPLOMATIC (A1)
You can apply for "A1" category Diplomatic visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 1 year) if you are:
- Head of State, Government, International Organization and member of their families with a diplomatic status;
- Member of Parliament, International organization and member of official delegations with diplomatic passports;
- Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan.
You can apply for "A1" category Diplomatic visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 120 days within 1 year) if you are:
- Diplomatic passport and equivalent to diplomatic status passport holder;
- Diplomatic courier with courier's papers.
DIPLOMATIC (A2)
You can apply for "A2" category Diplomatic visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 180 days) if you are:
- Diplomatic agent of foreign diplomatic and equivalent to them representatives accredited in Kazakhstan traveling to Kazakhstan with a purpose of work; Honorary Consuls of foreign states accredited in Kazakhstan and their family members.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Valid passport: You must submit your passport valid for at least 3 months longer than the validity of the requested visa. The passport must have at least two blank pages for a visa and for entry and exit stamps.
- Visa Application: A separate visa application form must be completed for each person. All fields must be completed, otherwise your application may be refused.
- Visa Fee Payment: Free of charge.
- Photo: One passport size (3.5cm x 4.5cm or 5 x 5cm) photo of the applicant, which should be stapled to the marked space in the upper right hand corner of the application form.
- Verbal Note or Visa Support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan: Verbal Note, addressed to the Consular Section of the Embassy of Kazakhstan from US State Department, with a request to issue a visa. Please, indicate your name, the purpose of your trip, your contact in Kazakhstan, the dates of your planned trip, and places to be visited.
- Photocopy of your passport’s main page.
- Diplomatic visa applications must be submitted in-person or using third party accredited agencies.
