The consular post of the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out its functions to protect the rights and interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad, and also provides services for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens in accordance with the current regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Consular Charter of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963, to which the Republic of Kazakhstan acceded in the spring of 1993.

  • The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UK is not responsible for the safety of documents sent by applicants by mail.
  • The consular institution reserves the right to require applicants to provide additional documents.

from 9:30 to 12:30 – document submission

from 16:00 to 17:00 – document collection

March 8 — International Women's Day (the day off from March 8 Sunday slips to March 9 Monday)

March 21-23 — Nauryz holiday (the day off from March 21-22 Saturday and Sunday slips to March 24-25 Tuesday and Wednesday)

May 1 — Kazakhstan's People Solidarity Holiday

May 7 — Defenders’ day

May 9 — Victory Day  (the day off from May 9 Sunday slips to May 11 Monday)

Day July 6 — Capital Day

August 30 — Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the day off from August 30 Sunday slips to August 31 Monday)

October 25 — Republic Day (the day off from October​ 25 Sunday slips to October​ 26 Monday)

December 16 — Kazakhstan Independence Day

  • First day of Qurban Ait, celebrated by Muslim calendar, the 7th of January - Orthodox Christmas are nonworking days (without extending).
  • In 2026 the first day of Qurban Ait is on May​ 27.
