"Al-Farabi – Iqbal" international forum

Almaty, 27 May 2022 – The opening ceremony of the "Al-Farabi – Iqbal" international forum dedicated to the heritage of Pakistan great thinker, Muhammad Allam Iqbal, was held. 
The event was organized by the International Turkic Academy together with the COMSTECH and with collaboration of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan.

A representative delegation of Pakistan arrived at the forum. The delegation consists of Senator Walid Iqbal, Prof., Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, Coordinator General of COMSTECH, Brigadier Raashid Wali Janjua, Director Research Islamabad Policy Research Institute, Mr. Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad ALI, the Dewan of Junagadh State & Chairman of the MUSLIM Institute. In addition, expert circles from Turkey, Iran and the UK arrived to the event.

The Chief Guests made a welcoming speech.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin noted that this event was held under the sign of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states. The event is important for the strengthening of cultural ties and restoring fraternal relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan. Ambassador wished the forum participants success and fruitful discussions.
