Work visa - C3, C4, C5

WORK (C3)

You can apply for "C3" category Working visa (single entry until 90 days, in some cases until 1 year / multiple entry until 3 years; for Astana International Financial Centre workers until 5 years) if you are:

• Foreigners visiting Kazakhstan with the purpose of work, including their family members.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• For "C3" category Working visas - An invitation letter with a visa support number from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and an Employment Contract;
• Visa application form must be completed properly in block letters, otherwise, it won't be accepted;
• One recent, color passport-sized picture of the applicant which should be attached to the marked space in the upper right-hand corner of the application form (size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm, Full face, No smiling, Sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, should be removed, unless religious belief or ethnic background. Background: White);
• Passport (with at least two blank pages; it should be valid for at least three months longer than the validity of the requested visa);
• One copy of passport.

 

WORK (C4)

You can apply for "C4" category Working visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 3 years) if you are:

• an adult foreigner visiting Kazakhstan with the purpose of self-employment in professions that are in demand in priority sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• For "C4" category Working visas - An invitation letter with a visa support number from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan and an Employment Contract;
• Visa application form must be completed properly in block letters, otherwise, it won't be accepted;
• One recent, color passport-sized picture of the applicant which should be attached to the marked space in the upper right-hand corner of the application form (size: 3.5cm x 4.5cm, Full face, No smiling, Sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, should be removed, unless religious belief or ethnic background. • Passport (with at least two blank pages; it should be valid for at least three months longer than the validity of the requested visa);

WORK - Business-Immigrant (C5)

You can apply for "C5" category Working (Business Immigrant) visa (single entry until 90 days / multiple entry until 2 years; in some cases until 3 years) if you are an adult visiting Kazakhstan with the purpose of entrepreneurial activity.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• For "C5" category Single entry Working (Business Immigrant) visa for up to 90 days and Multiple entry visa for up to 2 years (ethnic Kazakhs - up to 3 years):
• a medical certificate confirming the absence of diseases, the presence of which prohibits entry of foreigners and stateless persons to the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• medical insurance;
• a document confirming the presence or absence of a criminal record issued by the authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent residence;
• a document confirming the existence or absence of a ban on entrepreneurial activity on the basis of a court decision issued by the authorized body of the country of citizenship or permanent residence, if the issuance of such a certificate is provided for by the legislation of a foreign state;
• An invitation letter with a visa support number from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan;
• Visa application form must be completed properly in block letters, otherwise, it won't be accepted;

• Visa Fees:
• Single Entry - 80 USD.
• Multiple Entry - 200 USD.
• Multiple Entry up to 2 years - 400 USD.
• Multiple Entry up to 3 years - 600 USD.
• Getting your Passport back. You can get your passport in person or send a courier to collect it.
