Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan awarded a Kazakhstan's 30th Anniversary of Independence medal

The Hague, February 9, 2022 -  Ambassador of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev held a meeting with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of the Netherlands Marinus Cornelis (Rini) Wagtmans, during the meeting Honorary Consul was awarded a jubilee medal in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

Rini Wagtmans has represented the interests of Kazakhstan since 2010 and over the years as Honorary Consul has made a significant contribution to the strengthening and developing trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands.

During the discussion special attention was paid to the January events. The Honorary Consul informed that the Dutch partners support the measures taken by the Leadership of Kazakhstan to assist the victims, strengthen the social protection of the population, as well as the planned comprehensive economic reforms.
