Meeting of Kazakh Foreign Minister with Indian Ambassador

Astana, May 4, 2023 – Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu received Ambassador of the Republic of India H.E.Ms.Shubhdarshini Tripathi.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the state and prospects for the development of the Kazakh-Indian strategic partnership, as well as exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation.

The increase in trade turnover between the two countries was noted with satisfaction, which reached $2.5 billion by the end of 2022.

The interlocutors expressed mutual interest in further enhancing mutually beneficial trade, economic, investment and technological cooperation between the two countries.

The sides also discussed the participation of the Kazakh delegation in the upcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held on May 4-5 this year in Panaji.
