Apply now and win a grant to cover tuition at the Kazakh-British Technical

Who can apply?
▪ Citizens of CIS countries, Georgia, Ukraine, Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Turkey.
▪ Ethnic Kazakh citizens from any foreign country.
Number of places:
Foreign citizens with citizenship of CIS countries, Georgia, Ukraine- 2 places with
100% discount on bachelor's degree programs, 4 places with 50% discount on
bachelor's degree programs, 2 places with 100% discount on master's degree
programs, 4 places with 50% discount on master's degree programs.
Foreign citizens with citizenship of Mongolia, Pakistan, India, Turkey (2 places
with 100% discount for Bachelor programs, 2 places with 100% discount for
Master programs, 4 places with 100% discount for Master programs, 4 places with
100% discount for Master programs).
For persons of Kazakh nationality from any foreign countries (2 places with 100%
discount for Bachelor programs, 4 places with 100% discount for Master programs,
4 places with 50% discount for Master programs).
The competition is held in two stages:
1) Submission of documents
2) Interview with the admission committee
Important dates:
▪Stage 1 (documents submission): from March 01 to May 01
▪Stage 2 (interview): May 02 to May 31
Information for the 1st and 2nd stages:
At the 1st stage, the participant of the competition registers on the portal
https://kbtu.studyspace.kz/ and uploads required documents.
Documents for Bachelor’s degree studies
▪Passport
▪Documents on education (diploma or certificate of general education)
▪1 letter of recommendation
▪Language proficiency certificate (IELTS or KELET - KBTU’s internal test)
▪Motivation letter in English (600 words)
▪Other certificates of achievement
Documents for Master’s degree studies
▪Passport
▪Documents on education (Bachelor's Diploma and transcript)
▪2 letters of recommendation (at least one academic)
▪Language proficiency certificate (IELTS or KELET – KBTU’s internal test)
▪Motivation letter in English (600 words)
▪Other certificates of achievement
At the 2nd stage, the participant of the competition, who has successfully passed
the first stage, is interviewed by the admission committee.
The date and time of the interview will be sent to the participant's email.
