Hungarian company “UBM Group” will build in Kazakhstan 4 plants for production of mixed fodder and premixes

Astana, January 21, 2025 - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov met with the Chairman-Management Board of UBM Group Ákos Varga and discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector.

UBM Group intends to realize projects on production of mixed fodder and premixes in a number of regions of Kazakhstan. Earlier Framework Agreement on this was concluded during the visit of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Hungary.

From 2025 to 2028, the company plans to invest approximately $83 million in the construction of three feed production plants in the Kostanai, Akmola, and Turkestan regions, as well as a premix plant in the Almaty region.

Aidarbek Saparov noted that the Ministry will provide full assistance in the implementation of the projects.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed confidence that joint efforts in this direction will give new impetus to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the countries.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ottó Iván Róna and representatives of UBM Group.
