
Abzal Saparbekuly - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary
Born on August 6, 1975 in the village of Kairat, Zhambyl region. Graduated from Middle East Technical University (Turkey) in 1999.
He started his career in 1999 as auditor at Okan-Inter-Continental Hotel, Astana.
He began his diplomatic career in 2000 as a desk officer in the Near and Middle East, Maghreb and Africa Department of the Bilateral Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2003 to 2008, he worked as attaché, third and second secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Turkey.
In 2008, he was appointed Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Protocol of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
In 2008-2011 he served as an counsellor to the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
From 2011 to 2017, he was Director of the Secretariat of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Deputy Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Istanbul.
From 2017 to 2022, he served as Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkey, as well as to Albania with residence in Ankara.
Holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary First Class.
Fluent in Turkish and English.
