Brussels, September 14, 2021 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium, the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan in Luxembourg and the Eurasian Resources Group company initiated the issue of commemorative postage stamps in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.
The logo of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence is depicted on the postage stamp of the Belgian country. Postage stamps are used in the daily correspondence of the Embassy, as well as souvenirs.
In Belgium, despite the high development of modern digital technologies and electronic services, postal correspondence is important in the life of the country. The first national postage stamps were issued by Belgium on July 1, 1849, and the world's first exhibition of a private collection of postage stamps was held in 1852 in Brussels.
This stamp was issued with the support of the well-known postal company Bpost (Belgian Post Group). The first commemorative copies were handed over to representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission, as well as state structures and organizations of the Kingdom of Belgium.
