New Honorary Consulate Opens in Belgium

BRUSSELS, August 25, 2021 – on the day of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Belgium, the ceremony of awarding the exequatur and patent to the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in the Walloon Brabant province took place.

The new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan Mrs. Anna Susarova is a lawyer, co-founder of the law firm Pravolex LLC and specializes in legal advice and support for foreign citizens in Belgium.

In addition, Mrs. A.Susarova is a professor of jurisprudence at the University of Mons. He takes an active part in the work of the Chamber of Commerce of Valonia, the development of economic cooperation, as well as in in supporting business between Kazakhstan and Belgium.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Mr. Margulan Baymukhan noted the importance of the Institute of Honorary Consuls, which is an effective tool for trade, economic and cultural cooperation.

Mrs. A.Susarova thanked for the trust shown to her by the leadership of Kazakhstan and Belgium, and assured that she would make every effort to strengthen the Kazakh-Belgian relations.

Together with the new Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan, plans have been outlined to attract investments in the country’s economy, promote Kazakhstan exports, and implement cultural and humanitarian projects.

Today, in the Kingdom of Belgium there are 4 honorary consulates in various regions of the country.
