
Cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with NATO
Cooperation between Kazakhstan and NATO is implemented within the framework of the Partnership for Peace (PfP) program, signed in 1994.
The main goal of cooperation with NATO is to train peacekeeping units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan for deployment as part of UN peacekeeping missions. The development of partnership with the Alliance contributes to strengthening the peacekeeping capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The goals and objectives of the partnership are implemented within an Individually Tailored Partnership Programme.
