Performances of Kazakhstan’s «Astana Ballet Theater» on the stage of the concert hall «Batiment des Forces Motrices» in Geneva

We are pleased to invite you to the tour performances of the globally recognized Kazakh Theater «Astana Ballet», which will be presented on the stage of the concert hall «Batiment des Forces Motrices» in Geneva on December 15, 16, and 17, 2023.

The theater artists accompanied by a symphony orchestra will present masterpieces of modern and national choreographic art: the iconic ballet «Carmen Suite», the author's performance «The Arcana of Fate» and the gala concert «The Heritage of the Great Steppe».

On December 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm, and on December 17 at 2 pm the first part of the event will feature the legendary ballet «Carmen Suite» by Alberto Alonso to the music of Georges Bizet and Rodion Shchedrin - a unique diamond of the ballet art. In the second part, the audience will have a chance to enjoy the mysterious performance «The Arcana of Fate» staged by the theater's chief choreographer Mukaram Avakhri to the music of the famous Kazakh singer Karina Abdullina.

On December 17 at 7 pm incredibly beautiful and spectacular gala concert «The Heritage of the Great Steppe» will be presented to connoisseurs of high art. This signature performance of the theatre is repeatedly drawing a round of applause worldwide – choreographers reference to the history and traditions of the Kazakh people in their works.
