Ambassador of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev presented his credentials to Lieutenant Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta Fra 'Marco Luzzago in Rome

Alibek Bakayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented his credentials to the Head of the Sovereign Order of Malta Fra 'Marco Luzzago in Rome.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of health care and the humanitarian sphere.

In his welcoming speech, Lieutenant Grand Master Fra Marco Luzzago conveyed his greetings to the top leadership of Kazakhstan and expressed hope for further expansion of humanitarian cooperation. In addition, the Head of the Sovereign Order of Malta expressed interest in participating in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

Diplomatic relations with the Sovereign Order of Malta were established on 4 February 1993.
