Subject: Sale of Motor Vehicles

 

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Swiss Confederation hereby invites sealed bids from interested parties for the purchase of the following motor vehicle. The auction is scheduled to take place on 28 April 2026:

  1. Vehicle will be sold in its present “as is” condition. Bidders must carefully read this announcement and inspect the condition of the vehicle before submitting their bids. By inspecting a vehicle and submitting a bid, bidders are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out in this announcement and may not request any improvements, adjustments, or repairs to the vehicles.
  2. Bids must not be lower than the above-mentioned starting prices. The bidder offering the highest price will have the right to purchase the vehicle and is required to make either full payment or a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the bid price on the day the bidding results are announced at the Embassy of Kazakhstan. The winning bidder must pay the remaining balance in full within 30 days of the announcement of the bidding results. The vehicle must be collected from the Embassy of Kazakhstan within 30 days after full payment has been made.
  3. All fees related to the transfer of registration or ownership, as well as any applicable taxes and other related expenses, shall be borne by the winning bidder.
  4. If the winning bidder fails to complete payment within the specified period, the bidder shall be deemed to have waived the right to purchase the vehicle and shall forfeit any payments made, including, but not limited to, the deposit.
  5. Bid rigging and any other form of improper interference are strictly prohibited.
  6. Members of the Auction Committee of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bern are not permitted to submit bids or engage others to bid on their behalf.

 

Interested buyers are welcome to inspect the vehicle at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bern on weekdays from 14 to 28 April 2026 by appointment only. Requests for inspection appointments and all inquiries may be sent to the Embassy of Kazakhstan at bern@mfa.kz.
