At the Foreign Ministry of Ethiopia discussed certain issues of bilateral cooperation

Addis Ababa, March 19, 2025 – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and to the Republic of Kenya (concurrently), Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the African Union, Mr. Barlybay Sadykov held a meeting with the Director General of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Siraj Reshid Jundi.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia, including in the consular sphere. The issues of signing the Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and Ethiopia on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports, development of mutual tourism, and protection of the interests of citizens of the two countries during mutual trips were discussed.

The parties agreed to continue to maintain dialogue to intensify cooperation between the two countries.
