Kazakhstan and Rwanda sign visa waiver agreement for diplomatic passport holders

New York, September 25, 2024 – On the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Rwanda – Olivier Nduhungirehe.

As a result of the meeting, representatives of both parties signed an intergovernmental agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and service passports, which will make a positive contribution to strengthening bilateral relations. The agreement shall enter into force  30 (thirty) calendar days after the date of receipt through diplomatic channels of the final written notification that both parties have completed the necessary domestic procedures for its entry into force.
