
President Tokayev appointed Olzhas Bektenev as the new Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, outlining ambitious goals for the new government.
“In the economy, we need to pursue a course of consistent and dynamic liberalization. This is the only way to bring Kazakhstan to a fundamentally new level of development,” Tokayev said.
The government was instructed to increase the inflow of investments. This is the key task for the established Investment Headquarters.
Enhancing the agro-industrial complex, improving water resource management, modernizing the energy sector, boosting transport and logistics, advancing digitalization, and reinforcing the social sector also highlighted.
President acknowledged Kazakhstan’s successful year but emphasized the presence of unresolved issues, urging the government to make decisive actions for the country’s qualitative development.
