The bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Ethiopia was discussed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 6, 2021 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the African Union Barlybai Sadykov held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Maloling Asfaw Director-General of the Department of Asian and Oceanic Affairs of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of politics, economy, and trade. Ambassador Barlybay Sadykov also briefed his counterparts on the implementation of democratic reforms of the Head of State.

In addition, the parties agreed on the agenda of the upcoming first consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and Ethiopia. The consultations will make it possible to assess the state of bilateral cooperation and outline mutually beneficial areas of bilateral cooperation for the future.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in maintaining the robust interaction.
