Ethiopia is interested in expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of strategic research

Addis Ababa,  September 22, 2021 - Today the Ambassador of Kazakhstan B.Sadykov met with the leadership of the Center for Development, Research and Cooperation of Ethiopia - H. E. Mr. Tekeda Alemu, CDRC Member, Board of Trustees, H. E. Mr. KasahunDenderMelese, CDRC Deputy Executive Director.

During the conversation, B. Sadykov acquainted the interlocutors with the achievements of Kazakhstan over 30 years of Independence, foreign policy initiatives and the country's approaches to the main international issues submitted for discussion at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the research centers of the two countries, exchange of information on topical international and regional problems.

Representatives of the Center for Development, Research and Cooperation of Ethiopia expressed their interest in establishing partnerships with research institutes in Kazakhstan.

An agreement was reached on the continuation of interaction including at the level of experts of the two countries, on holding joint events.

Center for Development, Research and Cooperation of Ethiopia is one of the leading research centers in Ethiopia specializing in the study and development of recommendations for the Government of Ethiopia on topical international and regional issues. The members of the Center are former Ambassadors of Ethiopia, experts in the field of security, development, transport, ecology, etc.
