Almaty, September 25, 2024 – As part of the working visit of the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al Mazrouei, to Kazakhstan, a round table on investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE was organized.
The event was attended by the Governor of the Astana International Financial Centre, Renat Bekturov, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, as well as representatives of relevant departments and companies from both countries.
During the round table, the implementation of joint investment projects in the fields of renewable energy, transport, logistics, finance, education, and other sectors was discussed.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to comprehensively develop bilateral investment cooperation.
Almaty, September 25, 2024 – A delegation led by UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al Mazrouei, participated in the 29th International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (KIOGE).
During the conference, Suhail Al Mazrouei met with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almasadam Satkaliyev.
The meeting focused on strengthening ties in the energy sector, as well as developing investment cooperation between the two countries.
As a result of the event, agreements were reached on the comprehensive development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
Kazakh Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, held a meeting with Sheikh Surur bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the senior representative of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in trade, economic, and investment sectors. The Kazakh diplomat highlighted the considerable potential and experience of UAE companies in these areas and invited them to actively participate in mutually beneficial projects.
In turn, Sheikh Surur bin Mohammed Al Nahyan noted his meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev last year and emphasized the rapid development of relations between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to further developing ties between Kazakhstan and the UAE in various fields.
Abu Dhabi, September 12, 2024. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, met with Kazakhstani students of the branch of New York University in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat noted that in the current Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, great attention was paid to a wide range of issues, including in the field of education, science, increasing the country's human resources potential, training qualified specialists for professions that will be in demand in the future.
In addition, noting that the Head of State has high hopes for citizens studying at leading universities in the world, and appropriate support measures are being taken by the state, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan expressed confidence that young people will contribute to the development of a new, fair Kazakhstan.
Najmedin Mukhametaliuly also noted that by decree of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, a referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant will be held on October 6 this year, and stressed the strategic importance of this event. In this regard, the Kazakh diplomat urged students to come and vote at the polling station at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UAE to make their choice at this important moment regarding the future of our country.
In turn, the students expressed their opinions and asked questions on various topics. Comprehensive answers were given to all questions, and it was noted that the Embassy would always provide appropriate support.
Abu Dhabi, September 09, 2024 – Kazakh Ambassador to UAE Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with the Speaker of the Federal National Council of the UAE Saqr Ghobash.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation, including interparliamentary relations between the countries, were discussed.
The Kazakh diplomat noted the role of interaction between friendship groups and relevant committees, as well as the exchange of visits by the chairmen of parliaments as an important incentive to strengthen these ties. In addition, attention was paid to the topic of ongoing political and socio-economic reforms under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Kazakhstan.
In turn, Saqr Ghobash confirmed his openness to international cooperation, including close cooperation with the Parliament of Kazakhstan through the exchange of experience and mutual visits.

Abu Dhabi, September 5, 2024. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with the Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport of Abu Dhabi Dr. Saif Sultan Al Nasri.
During the meeting, issues related to cooperation between the cities of Astana - Abu Dhabi and Almaty - Abu Dhabi were discussed.
The Kazakh diplomat, paying special attention to the main aspects of the annual State of the Nation Address of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, shared detailed information on measures aimed at the sustainable development of our country.
In turn, Dr. Saif Sultan Al Nasri noted that close relations have been established between Kazakhstan and the UAE, expressing his readiness to contribute to their further strengthening. In order to further develop relations between the cities of Astana - Abu Dhabi and Almaty - Abu Dhabi, he also declared his readiness to implement joint projects in the field of transport and infrastructure, paying special attention to the importance of developing "Smart city" systems.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the further development of relations between the cities.
Abu Dhabi, August 27, 2024, Kazakh Ambassador to the UAE Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. During the meeting, issues of economic cooperation were discussed.
The Kazakh diplomat noted the special importance of developing mutual economic cooperation. He also noted the important role of the Fund in financing projects to stimulate sustainable development and economic growth.
In turn, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi confirmed his openness to international cooperation, including cooperation with Kazakhstan in the framework of the implementation of strategic projects to stimulate economic activity.

Abu Dhabi, July 19, 2024 – Kazakh Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Najmedin Mukhametaliuly met with Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, the Chancellor of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of higher education were discussed. The Kazakh diplomat emphasized the special importance of developing cooperation in higher education, including strengthening ties between educational institutions. He highlighted the significance of quality education and the crucial role of the young generation in the further development of the country.
In turn, Khalifa Al Dhaheri elaborated on the key directions and current activities of the university, as well as its achievements. Abu Dhabi, July 17, 2024, The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, met with Mohammad Kamil Al Muaini, the Chairman of the International Cultural Diplomacy Institute. The meeting focused on further developing cooperation between the cultural and scientific centers of the two countries.
Al Muaini shared insights about the activities of the International Cultural Diplomacy Institute and highlighted the successful ongoing cooperation with Kazakhstan’s higher education institutions, cultural, and scientific centers.
