About change of restrictive measures concerning the persons arriving by flights from abroad to Kazakhstan

The Ministry of сulture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the resolution of the Chief state sanitary doctor of October 23, 2020 No. 59, informs tour operators and citizens of Kazakhstan about changes in the requirements for persons arriving in Kazakhstan from abroad.

Thus, restrictive measures against persons arriving by flights from abroad to Kazakhstan have been changed as follows:

  1. All persons arriving on flights from abroad in Kazakhstan (with the exception of children under 5 years old if their accompanying persons have certificates; the governmental delegations of Kazakhstan; members of official delegations of foreign States and international organisations arriving in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the invitation of the foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan; employees of diplomatic missions, consular posts and representative offices of international organizations accredited in Kazakhstan, and members of their families; the crews of the airlines) are thermometry, questioning and present a certificate of passing the test on COVID-19 PCR, taken not earlier than 3 days at the time of crossing the state border of the RK (hereinafter – Certificate).
  2. Passengers who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are not allowed on Board the aircraft in the absence of a Certificate.
  3. Arriving persons with a body temperature within the normal range, who presented a certificate, are given an explanation of possible symptoms of COVID-19 with the receipt of the corresponding receipt, and they continue to follow the destination.
  4. Arriving persons with elevated body temperature, regardless of the availability of a Certificate, are subject to isolation in an infectious diseases hospital.
  5. Arrived citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, persons who have a residence permit on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the absence of a Certificate are subject to isolation in a quarantine hospital for 2 days for laboratory examination for COVID-19 by PCR. After receiving the results of a laboratory test for COVID-19, those who arrive with a negative result for COVID-19 are given an explanation about possible symptoms of COVID-19 and receive a corresponding receipt. Those who arrive with a positive result for COVID-19 are hospitalized in an infectious diseases hospital.

This resolution comes into force at 00 hours on October 27, 2020.
