
Today, the akim of the region, Nurlybek Nalibayev, visited the construction sites within the city limits.
He reviewed the progress of a complex being built for the production of bakery, confectionery, and pasta products, which is part of the industrialization map for 2023. The project is initiated by Kyzylorda Nan LLP, covering an area of 6,166 square meters, with a construction cost of KZT 3.8 billion.
The confectionery shop plans to produce over 100 types of bakery products and 2,520 tons of confectionery annually. Pasta production will include at least 15 types of products, with an annual output of 1,152 tons. Once fully operational, the complex will create 67 jobs.
Nurlybek Mashbekuly also learned about the Digital Depot complex, which focuses on the repair and maintenance of passenger cars. This project is also included in the industrialization map, and its construction has been completed. Fifty-four units of equipment were delivered from Russia, and the facility will be operational soon. During his inspection of the facilities, the regional akim stressed the importance of these enterprises being sustainable, beneficial to the community, and producing in-demand products, highlighting the need for high-quality construction that adheres to architectural standards.
It is worth noting that in the region, 86 projects worth KZT 1.9 trillion are planned for implementation over the next five years. Last year, 21 projects worth KZT 37 billion were completed. One of the largest investment projects from last year was the new terminal at Korkyt Ata airport. A new production site for energy-saving glass was also opened at the Orda Glass plant. Additionally, plans include launching production of mineral powder, asphalt concrete, gas blocks, cinder blocks, metallurgical products, a vegetable storage facility with a capacity of 4,000 tons, pastille production, fish processing, five rice mills, corn production, and a nursery for growing forest crops using drip irrigation.
This year, 24 projects worth KZT 286.8 billion are planned for implementation. The Turkish company Aksa Energy is actively constructing a new thermal power plant with a capacity of 240 megawatts, which will be commissioned in the second half of 2025. By the end of the year, a mirror production facility with a capacity of 720,000 square meters per year, a dry camel milk powder production facility, a factory for producing 90 million ceramic bricks per year, and a complex for the repair and maintenance of passenger cars will also be commissioned.
Additionally, plans include launching four solar and one wind power plant with a total capacity of 141.2 MW.
