A new facility has been added to Kyzylorda's health infrastructure. A new Blood Center has been opened at the left bank of Syrdarya. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan,Tamara Duisenova, who visited the region on a working trip, took part in the ceremony. The event was also attended by regional akim Nurlybek Nalibaev, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ruslan Rustemov, Nauryzbai Baikadamov.
The Blood Center was previously without its own building. It was located in a regional multidisciplinary medical center. According to employees, there is a shortage of places during the work.
At the gala event, Tamara Duysenova pointed out the actions taken by the state in the healthcare sector. Currently, the country is implementing the national project “Modernization of Healthcare in Rural Areas” on behalf of the President. The construction of 655 primary healthcare facilities will be carried out in populated areas over the course of two years. The project also aims to improve district hospitals.
“As part of government support, today we are taking part in the opening ceremony of a new Blood Center. A facility that can serve ten thousand people a year is of great importance for the region. Our main goal is to preserve the health of the nation. A healthy nation is a guarantee of the country’s development”, said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Nurlybek Nalibaev, the region's akim, expressed his congratulations to his fellow countrymen on the opening of the new center. The construction of the building received KZT 2.7 billion from the republican budget. More than 10 thousand residents of the region donate blood every year. More than 17 thousand doses of blood components will be prepared by the center in accordance with medical organizations' requirements.
New vehicles were added to the region's medical fleet as part of the event. The heads of medical institutions were given the keys to 70 ambulances during a solemn ceremony. 11 medical organizations will use the new machines to meet the needs of the region's population.
