An event in honor of Isatay Abdykarimov is being held in Kyzylorda

Today in Kyzylorda there are events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the statesman and public figure, Hero of Socialist Labor Isatay Abdykarimov. Commemorative events began with a conference in the regional akimat “Isatay Abdykarimov: Citizen. Personality. Doer."
Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibaev noted that in celebrating the 85th anniversary of the region, the main priority was given to scientific, educational and cultural events. In particular, a special place is given to educational events dedicated to citizens who have contributed to the development of the region.
“Isatay aga, heading the Kyzylorda region, earned special love from the public. Kyzylorda region in the Soviet Union produced 25 percent of the total volume of rice and became a rice granary. During the reign of Isatay Abdykarimovich, farm managers, rice farmers, cattle breeders, machine operators, a total of 6 people received the title of Hero of Socialist Labor. He was also the chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR. No matter what position he was in, Isatay Abdykarimovich always remained a person worthy of emulation.
The dynamic development trends in the region continue today. Yesterday, the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, paid a working visit and got acquainted with the socio-economic development of the region. Taking advantage of the conference, in which the intelligentsia took part, I want to convey to you the sincere attitude of our president towards the people of the region and my high appreciation of our joint work. I believe that this price is the result of the unity and cohesion of the country and the continuity of the road that our brothers built,” said the head of the region.
At the meeting, special congratulatory letters from the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev and the Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Erlan Koshanov, statesman and political figure of the Republic of Uzbekistan Murat Kamalov were read out.
Academicians Murat Zhurinov, Turlybek Iskakov, chairman of the regional maslikhat Nauryzbai Baikadamov, vice-rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Zhandos Bazartay, public figure Ibrahim Abibullaev made presentations at the conference.
At the end of the event, a presentation of a new book was organized - a collection of manuscripts by Isatay Abdykarimov.
It should be noted that, as part of the celebration of the centenary anniversary of the figure, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument took place at the Kyzylorda Agricultural and Technical Higher College named after I. Abdykarimov. Next, an event will be organized in memory of Abdykarimov.
