The Korkyt Ata University is among the best universities in the world

This year, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has been ranked among the best universities in the world for the first time. In the ranking of universities, the university ranks 1201 in the world. This was announced at a briefing at the information platform of the Regional Communications Service by the Chairman of the Board, Rector of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Beibitkul Karimova.

2963 higher educational institutions from 104 countries of the world took part in the rating. The best included 1499 universities, including 21 Kazakh ones.

- Now 10,168 people study at the educational institution, this year 3084 graduates were awarded diplomas. Also, in the 2022-2023 academic year, 269 students studied under the academic mobility program, and 115 university students of the republic studied at the university. In addition, this year 14 of our teachers have received scholarships under the 500 Scientists project. They begin an internship at the expense of the state to exchange experience, conduct joint research at leading universities and research centers in Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, Russia, Azerbaijan. 9 winners and prize-winners of the World Championship, 23 of the Asian Championship, 125 of the Kazakhstan Championship study at the university. Today, there are 13 sports sections in the educational institution. In addition, the library, located in the Palace of Schoolchildren, underwent a major overhaul and became a new modern library in the Open Space format. All conditions for students are created here. There is a conference hall for 30 seats, a mini-hall for 10 seats and separate soft corners for conducting classes and accessing the Wi-Fi network, Beibitkul Sarsemkhanovna said.

It should be noted that the international relations of the university with South Korea have expanded. At the expense of funding from the Government of the Republic of Korea, together with the Seoul National University of Science and Technology, the project "Restructuring the IT departments and creating a new school of artificial intelligence" was developed.
