A government meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov was held to discuss the progress of the national environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan." First Deputy Akim of the region Daniyar Zhanalinov participated in the meeting via conference call.
Today, "Taza Kazakhstan" is an integral part of the national ideology. It, above all, instills a sense of order and responsibility, beginning with maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of streets and buildings. At the fifth meeting of the National Kurultai, the head of state emphasized: "Taza Kazakhstan is not a beautiful slogan or a campaign; it is the result of daily, hard work."
As part of the environmental program, the region is carrying out comprehensive work on sanitation, landscaping, and creating comfortable living conditions for the population. In addition to budgetary funds, central squares, recreation areas, playgrounds, and sports fields are being reconstructed, and residential buildings and social facilities are being renovated with the support of entrepreneurs.
With sponsorship and budgetary funds, the central square, the city cultural and leisure park, the Korkyt Ata memorial alley, and the Presidential Park have been renovated in Kyzylorda. Modern sports and playgrounds, modular sanitary stations, and special eco-boxes have been installed.
Currently, a year-round children's camp for 300 children and a botanical education center are under construction in the Presidential Park, as well as a pedestrian bridge across the SyrDarya River, connecting the Presidential Park to the city.
These works are also being systematically carried out in the districts, with active landscaping and lighting of new recreation areas, alleys, and streets underway.
A unified design code has been approved in the region, and, starting with the regional center, institutional buildings, courtyards, playgrounds, bus stops, and lampposts in populated areas have been brought into compliance with architectural requirements. To create a favorable environment in villages and encourage residents to participate in cleanup activities, the "Ulgili Eldi Meken" competition is held annually. Over the past three years, 2 billion 64 million tenge has been allocated for this important project, and 67 units of specialized equipment have been awarded to the best villages.
