The Office of the Constitutional Court with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Kazakhstan and the IRZ Institute for Legal Reform organized another experience exchange visit between the constitutional review bodies of Kazakhstan and Germany. A guest lecture for representatives of state bodies was held by retired Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany Gabriele Britz and researcher of the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main Jan Dönges. In-depth consultations and exchange of experience in the field of constitutional control were held with the participation of judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the meeting discussed the criteria of admissibility of appeals to constitutional courts, mechanisms of execution of decisions of constitutional control bodies and ways to improve their effectiveness.
Special attention was paid to the exchange of information and best practices in the field of ensuring proper execution of decisions of constitutional control bodies.
