The year of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On December 16, 1991, the First President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional Law "On State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan". This event finally completed the constitutional registration of Kazakhstan as an Independent state, was the beginning of the true sovereignty of the new independent state.
Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev emphasized: "On December 16, 1991, Kazakhstan began an absolutely new history. We, Kazakhstanis, became the founders and pioneers of the Kazakh era of the nation's ascent. This is the most accurate name of our noble time and all our great achievements."
December 16 becomes the main national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Independence Day.
In 2021, it will be exactly 30 years since the independent state of the Republic of Kazakhstan appeared on the world map. Active preparations for the celebration of the significant anniversary began long before this event. In September 2019, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 176 "On the establishment of the State Commission for the preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was issued, which reads: "In order to organize the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I decree: 1. "To create a State commission to prepare for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan." This Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan also approved the "Regulation on the State Commission for the preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The State Commission was instructed to develop a concept for celebrating the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence by December 25, 2019, and the Government of the country was instructed to develop and approve a plan of events for the celebration by February 29, 2020.
On February 5, 2021, the first meeting of the State Commission on preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. Opening the meeting of the State Commission, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Kazakhstan, under the leadership of Elbasy, has overcome all difficulties over the years of Independence and has become a strong state. Today Kazakhstan is entering the fourth decade of its sovereignty – the most important period for our country. The Head of State stressed that during the celebration of the significant historical date of the 30th anniversary of Independence, fuss and waste should not be allowed, each event should be associated with concrete steps that will benefit the country. The 30th anniversary of Independence should be held within the framework of the reforms planned in the country. "We should celebrate the 30th anniversary of Independence with concrete actions and projects in which improving the well-being of people is the main goal of all our efforts",- the Head of State noted. It was emphasized that the events held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of Independence should be focused on the younger generation, should become a spiritual impulse for the people, develop patriotic feelings of citizens, especially young people. According to the Head of State, it is necessary to effectively organize information work, explain to the population the significance of the anniversary date.
The concept of the Independence Day is called "Zhasampazdykka toly zhyldar" (Years full of creation).
Therefore, it is necessary to popularize the idea of creation widely. To emphasize the historical role of the founder of independent Kazakhstan, the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The continuity of the policy of Elbasy should become the ideological core of all events," the Head of State stressed. At the same time, he recalled that appropriate honors will be given to citizens who have contributed to the strengthening of statehood, the development of the country, and on the eve of the holiday the jubilee medal "Kazakhstan Republikasyn 30 Zhyldygy" will be issued.
Kazakhstan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence on December 16, 2021. The celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan is important for the entire Kazakh society, will contribute to strengthening the values of Independence in the minds of Kazakhstanis. As the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized: "Independence is our main value, it is above all! Our task is to leave a prosperous and strong Kazakhstan as a legacy to future generations."
