Makarov Leonid Nikolaevich was born in 1922 in the village the Butt of the Kirov region. In 1940, he graduated from the Luhansk military aviation school. From August 1942, he fought on the Western, Leningrad and 1st Belorussian fronts. For the period from 1942 - 1945 produced 133 sorties.
Awarded the order of the red Star, Alexander Nevsky, world war I degree, three orders of the red banner, the order of Lenin, medals "for bravery", "for the defense of Leningrad", "for the capture of Konigsberg", "for the victory over Germany".
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on April 19, 1945, L. N. Makerov was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.
After the war Makerov L. N. lived and worked in Kustanai.
The tombstone is rectangular in shape, made of dark green marble. The upper part is engraved with a gold star and the inscription: "Makerov Leonid Nikolaevich 1922 5/06 – 1954 5/10". The tombstone is rectangular in shape, made of granite.
