Dear carriers and drivers!

Starting from June 1, 2026, the Russian Federation will introduce a confirmation system for waiting for goods (SPOT).

When importing goods by road, the recipient in the Russian Federation must issue a document in advance about the upcoming delivery and receive a QR code.

The QR code must be in the driver's possession and must be presented at the request of the regulatory authorities.

The absence of a confirmed QR code provides for non-admission to the Russian Federation and the return of the vehicle.

In this regard, it is recommended:

 to check in advance with the Russian recipient the availability of a completed QR code within the framework of the SPOT;

 check for a QR code before arriving at the checkpoint;

 have a QR code in printed or electronic form;

 verify the information in the QR code with shipping documents (product, quantity, vehicle, recipient);

 take into account the possible increase in border crossing time in case of incorrect paperwork.

Please take these changes into account when planning shipments and interact with Russian recipients of goods in advance.

You can learn more about SPOT information on the official resources of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. (https://minfin.gov.ru/ru/press-center/?id_4=40307-prezident_rossii_podpisal_zakon_o_natsionalnoi_sisteme_podtverzhdeniya_ozhidaniya_postavki_tovarov_spot).
