A citizen of Kyrgyzstan who tried to illegally transfer money to Kazakhstan at the Uzbek-Kazakh border has been detained

At the customs post "Atameken" of the State Revenue Department in the Turkestan region, a Kyrgyz citizen was detained trying to smuggle 20,000 US dollars and 23,458,000 tenge to Kazakhstan.

 

On October 19, 2021, at about 14:30 hours, employees of the customs post "Atameken" together with the border patrol "DTTS" found undeclared funds during the inspection of the Volvo cargo transport en route to the Republic of Kazakhstan.


Since this case is specifically considered in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the case has now been sent to the Department of Economic Investigation in the Turkestan region to carry out the necessary investigative measures against a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.
