Secretary General of World Customs Organization (WMO), Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, visited Kazakhstan

Secretary General of World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya visited Turkestan region by receiving invitation from Kazakh side.

During his visit, Secretary General Mikuriya familiarized himself with the newly modernized “B. Konysbaev” Customs Сheckpoint operations on the Kazakh-Uzbek border.

The head of World Customs Organization praised the technical equipment of the customs post directed to simplify customs procedures and reducing time costs for business.

Also, the Secretary General of World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya visited Kentau city and laid the wreath at the memorial of Japanese prisoners of war in Turkestan region. He went for sightseeing in Turkestan and visited sacred place, Mausoleum of Khodja Akhmet Yassawi.
