Karaganda residents won ten medals at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Karaganda athletes adequately represented Kazakhstan at the World Jiu-jitsu Championship. Our fighters have 10 medals on their account.

The tournament was held in Heraklion (Greece). The competition was very high. More than 970 athletes from 69 countries gathered to demonstrate their skills.

12 jitters went to the World Championship from the Karaganda region to defend the honor of the country. 10 medals have been won.

The winners were Asanali Abayev (newaza system), Ayana Amze (contact system) and Shakhnoza Tajieva (contact system).

Silver was won by Ainaz Myrzabekov (newaza System), Varvara Shkuratova (newaza System), Zhandos Kuanyshbekov (No-Gi). Zhiger almatai (newaza System), Asylmurat Sagyndyk (newaza System), Olzhas nurtakov (No-Gi), Azhara Saltykova (No-Gi) won bronze.

The national team of Kazakhstan took the first place in the team competition among adults.
