A schoolboy from Karaganda received a prize for winning the International Olympiad of schoolchildren

In Nur-Sultan, cash certificates for a large sum were awarded to the winners and prize-winners of international school Olympiads. Among the 27 awarded is Madiyar Kasymaly from Karaganda, who won a gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) this year.

Madiyar is a multiple winner of national and international chemistry Olympiads. The teacher Abylai Samatov helped him to master and improve his knowledge on this subject. This year, Madiyar Kasymaly graduated from the Bilim-Innovation Boarding School No. 1 and entered Nazarbayev University.

The winner of the International Olympiad received a prize of 4.7 million tenge.

- I'm already a student now. At the university, of course, it will be more difficult. I would like to advise schoolchildren not to be afraid to participate in Olympiads of different levels, to test their knowledge without concentrating on medals. It helps to move forward. Of course, it is necessary to prepare responsibly, not to give yourself slack, - says Madiyar Kasymaly.

This year, for the first time, Kazakhstani schoolchildren receive monetary rewards for success in international intellectual competitions. The teachers who prepared them for the Olympiads were also awarded. The law providing for the norms on the payment of lump sums of money to the winners of the subject international Olympiads was signed by the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
