A large deposit of rare earth metals Kuirektykol is located in the Karkaraly district of the Karaganda region. Exploration work has recently been completed the estimated reserves are estimated at 28 million tons. Given the richness of the region's mineral resources, foreign companies are conducting exploration work. It will also expand the mineral resource base and build new production facilities for processing rare earths and precious metals. Thus, exploration work has been completed at the Kuirektykol deposit. The estimated reserves of rare earth metals are 28.2 million tons. Promising deposits of gold, copper and tungsten have been identified," said Deputy Akim of the region Alibek Aldeney at a briefing at the site of the Regional Communications Service.

According to him, design and estimate documentation is being developed for the construction of new plants and the necessary infrastructure. The Deputy Governor of the region noted that there are long-term prospects for the development of the mining and manufacturing industry in the region.
