Our countryman Sabyrzhan Akkalykov won the gold medal of the World Youth Boxing Championship in Poland. The boxer rose to the first step of the podium in the category up to 64 kilograms. In the main match, he was stronger than Bozorboy Matyakubov from Ukraine.
Earlier in the same championship, a pupil, a first-year student of our Regional boarding school-the college of the Olympic Reserve named after him. Aliya Moldagulova Jasmin Kizatova won the bronze medal in the 69 kg category. We are proud of these victories! Recall that the AIBA championship was held in the Polish city of Kielce, it was attended by almost 500 of the strongest young boxers from 66 countries!
