Conveyor belt fire at the Kazakhstanskaya mine of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC

On 17.08.2023, a conveyor belt caught fire at the Kazakhstanskaya mine of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC.

 

On this occasion, by order of the Acting Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Sarbasov No. 346 dated 08/18/2023, a commission was established under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tanabayev M.T., which included representatives of central and local executive bodies, trade union organizations, to conduct a special investigation of a group accident due to an accident on the Kazakhstanskaya mine, which has started work.

 

According to the results of the investigation, the circumstances and reasons will be established, which will be additionally reported.
